This is really interesting  – from the pages of dornob.com.

” Spanish studio MUT Design has a creative solution in the form of FLOAT, a collection of modular kitchen units that are not only fully mobile, but also just as pleasing to look at as modern furniture made for more personal living spaces.”

I like the idea of kitchen cabinets represented by furniture. The kitchen workspace is so often (always?) constructed as a fixed box with a heavy countertop and has become such a staple in home design in North America, that it makes this a very fresh option, especially in this modern style. I really like the use of the copper and wood as a compliment to the appliances and fixtures. The mobility of each piece allows for a space that can be changed, added to and adds an artistic element to something that is so incredibly standardized. Very nice.
