There’s some big wood in the shop right now, these pieces of book-matched walnut are almost 11′ long and slated for a coffee table and I’m not quite sure what else. It took some time to find these, two months of searching, quite a few slabs to choose from to get the right pieces and color and size. That’s what I like about custom, and the wait has been worth it. I’m feeling pretty lucky to get to have a chance to work such great pieces. I’ve been banging out a lot of cabinets and drawers lately, enjoying building boxes and the repetition lately. There’s a small chest of drawers on the go as the snow piles up outside.
