I’m glad to be home. Leaving Edmonton today after an 8 week intense work and nothing else session I crested Kootenay Pass in pea soup fog and rolled into Trail, half expecting it not to be there when I arrived. Things have changed, the main drag is paved, new street signage as I slowed down and took it all in. There’s a ton of snow in my drive, I need to get a shovel, I stoked the fire and am enjoying being here, creaky floors, drafty windows and all. Tomorrow up to the shop. Hope that’s still there.
